Our mission

GoPress is a free service for communication, self-expression and freedom of speech. We believe GoPress increases the availability of information, encourages healthy debate, and makes possible new connections between people. It is our belief that censoring this content is contrary to a service that bases itself on freedom of expression.

However, in order to uphold these values, we need to curb abuses that threaten our ability to provide this service and the freedom of expression it encourages. As a result, there are some boundaries on the type of content that can be hosted with GoPress. The boundaries we’ve defined are those that both comply with legal requirements and that serve to enhance the service as a whole.

Our content policies play an important role in ensuring a positive experience for both our users and publishing partners. Please join us in this effort by respecting these guidelines. We may make exceptions to these policies based on artistic, educational, historical, documentary, or scientific considerations, or where there are other substantial benefits to the public. These policies are subject to change, so please check back for updates.

Enforcement of GoPress Content Policy

Our team reviews user flags for content regulation violations. If the post does not violate our policies, we will not take any action against the post or the contributor.

If we find that a post does violate our content policies, we delete the offending content.

We may also take any of the above actions if we find that a user has created multiple posts engaging in repeated abusive behavior.

Cover Image

Cover image must be related to the content.

No Sensitive or Offensive Image.

Title

Not allowed: Excessive use of punctuation. Such as a large number of exclamation marks, question marks etc.

Should not have redundant symbols, such as #, ✳ etc.

Must be complete and related to the content.

Not allowed: any misleading, threatening or exaggerated information.

Text

Font & colour of text should be same throughout the article, but font & colour of description of any image, reference, subtitle, etc. can be different.

Not allowed: confusing layout.

Sensitive content such as obscene content or related text, image video; malicious content related with bloody, violent, terrorism, gambling or drugs, superstitious content, religious extremist, criminal incitement or attempt is not allowed.

For comics, content must not be vulgar or sensitive in nature.

For political/social events, the source should be credited, such as a newspaper / magazine (and online media, in addition to the blog)

Infringement  

There should not be any unauthorized use corporate name, logo or title or defamation of any person in any case whatsoever.

No counterfeit of celebrity personal account for registration

For summary, need to provide at least 3 reference sources

For translation and quotation of foreign articles, the source should be credited

Any kind of quotation such as image, video or text, the primary source should be credited

No article should be published about making money from any app or any other website unless agreed terms with GoPress

11.Explicit sex descriptions, non-mosaic images in the coverage about rape or contents that is easy to generate negative-feeling of audience;
